English Translation Project

Hello all

I'm opening this thread because I have started to work on a English translation of Bellum Crucis 6.1
I feel that it would be such a shame if this great mod is not exposed to and played by the English and TWC community.

Unfortunately, I do not speak Italian but through the use of existing BC 5.0 English translation and online tools such as google and bing trnaslators, I'm hoping to do decent job enough.

My goals are to use this thread as a working platform where I can ask questions to BC team members as well as potentially attract more people who would join me.

So without further due, I ask anyone interested to join me in getting in my opinion the best MTW II mod translated into English.

I have already started with translation and my progress is maybe at 10%. I'm ready to start translating unit descriptions text file. Once I finish that I will upload some text files for the BC team to review if need be.

Lastly I want to thank the BC team for their outstanding work in creating Bellum Crucis and their support in my project.

I tried but I keep getting a message that I have no access.
Also I can onlt post in English.

If there is a translation team then we should divide text files between ourselves so that I dont translate something that somebody else is at the same time.

we are just waiting for the coming of bc 6.2 patch to begin ;) your work will be very helpfull

I have already started with translation of BC 6.1. I have done 6 text files and are in process of translating unit description file.
I will help in any way necessary.

I am offering my time to do this.

i speak both english and italian 100% fluently.

I'm going to need your so that I can send you text files.

Another way is of course if you have Bellum Crucis 6.1 installed on your pc, then we can discuss which file you can translate. Any particular file that you prefer?

Let me know what you think. Once you translate a text file you can e-mail me that file so that I can put things together.

Looking forward to this IMMENSELY!I've attempted to play this Mod and it looks AMAZING! however i find it very difficult to play without understanding what it is that all the text says

Also if there is anyway I can help then I would love to, however I have no experience in this area, let alone modding in general

We are working on the translation for the next release, 6.2. Topic about that in "bottega del verrocchio" section.
