Faction thread: Georgia

I am new to this forum and mod. I saw prewiev of Bellum cruicis 6 and I have to say, that georgian units are not accurate. And georgians don't have similar army to byzantine empire.

L'avevo notato anch'io e avevo visto che c'è documentazione molto interessante, soprattutto per quanto riguarda le unità militari dei georgiani. Per Bellum, ormai le unità sono state fatte....ma per BTW può essere utile, ma penso che si debba chiedere al team di "L'Outremer".

Thank you very much for theese information Ostrogoth! The BC 6.0 version is already done, we're ending the last tests, but they will be very useful for the next version for a full georgian restyle :)

Will new version have english translation? And are not you going to create your own subforum on TWC?

I don't know what BC team will do about but the Basileia: Total War Team certainly will use that informations in it's mod...and a subforum in TWC is coming soon 'cause our english expert is on holiday :D

Thanks Ostrogoth: I didn't know anything about Georgian warriors, but now they seem to be great!!!
Comparing the images you posted to the new units of BC6, I think that most of them are similar to the originals, indeed (I expecially mean Metsikhovne archers and spearmen, Shubosani and Tazreuli infantrymen).
Of course, the "byzantine looking" ones should be reskinned or replaced by others and some other units should require more accuracy (for example Tazreuli heavy cavalrymen regarding to the weapons...).

generalmente quando si parla di mods a livello internazionale con "BC" si indica broken crescent.
ho visto anche su twc abbreviare bellum crucis, da parte di utenti del nostro forum, utilizzando "BC".

forse sarebbe meglio trovare un'altra abbreviazione, almeno quando si scrive su twc o ci si rivolge a utenti stranieri, non vorrei che sorgesse qualche problema di "interpretazione".

se mettessimo B+ ? con il più a simulare la Croce di Bellum Crucis
